According to reports, the Princess went to 'knight' the You're Beautiful singer after he joked he wanted to become a 'Sir', but didn't realise that Ed was stood directly behind her, causing him to nick him on the cheek as she swung the ceremonial sword over her shoulder. The 25-year-old singer was taken to hospital to get stitches, and although one source told The Sun that the star "could've been blinded", the Thinking Out Loud singer was in good humour about the accident.
