Charles sat in the control seat of the gantry crane and grabber at the MVV Energie plant in Devonport, Plymouth. As the Prince utilized the joystick to control the expansive grabber getting trash and keeping it into a chute prompting a 1,000C heater, he kidded: "We could be here for a considerable length of time." He saw trash being transformed into power at the plant on the last day of a three-day visit to the Duchy of Cornwall.
