The first of these was to Cast North West at Newburgh. This seeks to use sport of fishing, combined with horticulture and work-based learning to give people a sense of achievement. The Prince visited indoor and outdoor angling centres where he tried his hand at fishing. He then moved through the aquaponics area to the fish breeding centre, before planting a tree at the garden centre to commemorate his visit. The garden centre is where hanging baskets made by the students there are amongst the products on sale.
